Cafloutis!

Aquí está mi primer intento con un pastel de cereza. ¿Qué os parece? ¿Le daríais un mordisco? Si tenéis aguna recomendación para mejorarlo estoy abierta a sugerencias!

Under the sea

Hola! Una vez más el sábado ha sido el día con peor tiempo de la semana, nublado y algo fresco. Me apetecía mucho ponerme esta camiseta con animalillos marinos. Me sorprendió mucho cuando la vi, puesto que Fornarina no es de mis firmas favoritas.

(Hi! One more time saturday has been the worst day regarding the weather, it was cloudy and chilly. I was looking forward to wear this top with sea animal print. I was very surprised when I saw it because Fornarina isn't one of my favourite brands).

En cuanto la vi me encantó, esos pulpos rosas sonrientes me parecieron muy alegres.

Esta semana empiezan las rebajas, ¿ya tenéis algo concreto en mente u os lanzaréis a la aventura? Yo no tengo intención de hacerme con nada más... Sólo necesito que el buen tiempo se asiente de una vez y poder ponerme mis vestiditos nuevos.

(This week sales begin, are you going bargain hunting? I don't intend to buy anything... I just need good weather so I can wear my new dresses!).

Hola! Qué tal vuestra semana? Por aquí está haciendo mucho sol y calor. No tengo remedio, jeje, y ya he caido en las rebajas, aunque me he hecho prometer que no compraré nada más... Paseando por el centro vi un vestido precioso de cuadritos vichy en tono verde manzana y al entrar en la tienda me enamoré de uno blanco con florecillas bordadas en el mismo color, manga corta y muy fresquito. Ya los veréis por aquí!

(Hi! How is being your week? Here is very sunny and hot. I'm a hopeless case, I've already spent my budget for sales... Walking in downtown I saw and irresistible green vichy print dress as well as a quite nice white dress with small flowers embroidered. You'll see them soon!).

¡Hola! He estado teniendo problemas con las pilas de mi cámara y, aunque ya está solucionado, esta semana no tengo fotitos de outfit. Así que se me ocurrió enseñaros el contenido de mi bolso, una idea que lleva ya un tiempo por la blogosfera. La foto es malilla porque la hice con el móvil...

(Hi! I've been having problems with the batteries of my camera. So, though I've already mended it, I haven't photos of any outfit. That's why I thought to show you waht I'm carrying in my bag these days, an idea seen in many blogs. The quality of the photo is low because I took it with the telephone...


El bolso es de Pepe Jeans, de la temporada de verano del año pasado. Es muy cómodo y me encanta la forma. Dentro llevo uno de los libros que estoy leyendo, L' Étranger de A. Camus, una pinza del pelo con forma de mariposa, mi inseparable labial Manhunt de NARS, unos kleenex, mi cartera de Roxy y las recién adquiridas Ray Ban como mimo por acabar cuarto curso con éxito.

(It's a Pepe Jeans bag, from the last year summer season. It's very comfy and I adore its shape. Inside I carry one of the books I'm currently reading, L' Étranger by A. Camus, a butterfly shape pin, my inseparable Manhunt lipstick by NARS, some tissues, my Roxy wallet and my new Ray Ban sunglasses, which I've just bought to award myself for passing succesfully fourth year).

Esta semana una amiga y yo hicimos una pequeña incursión a las tiendas y en Women' secret tenían un 50% de descuento en algunas cosillas, entre ellas un conjunto de Winnie the Poo, y por 10,90 € el suje y la braguita no pude resistirme!

(This week, I went window shopping with a friend of mine. In Women' secret there where some products with a 50% discount. I fell in love with a Winnie the Poo outfit (bra and knickers) and I couldn't resist myself! They costed only 10,90€.)

Las rebajas se acercan peligrosamente, jeje, y yo he hecho ya un par de fichajes. Además, me he dado cuenta de algo un poco extraño. No tengo camisetas básicas! Ni blancas ni grises, ni tostadas. Tengo que solucionarlo, no?

(Sales are getting closer and I've seen some tempting clothes... Besides I've realized my lack of basic color t-shirts. I have to solve it, right?

El esmalte de OPI me ha dado un resultado estupendo, es resistente y muy bonito. Ando detrás de un rojo oscuro... Si tenéis alguna sugerencia soy toda oídos!

(OPI nail lacqer is amazing, tough and beautiful. I'm looking for a dark red one... If you have any suggestion I'm all ears!)

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

¿Cómo va vuestra semana? Después de las ansiadas vacaciones estoy dedicándome a leer, bucear por Internet y descansar un poco en general. Este año ha sido algo duro, y en Navidades y Semana Santa tuve que estudiar, por lo que desde septiembre del año pasado no disfrutaba de un descanso!. Ahora sólo falta que se vayan los nubarrones, el fresquito y poder tomar muchos helados (bueno, esto ya he empezado a hacerlo, aunque sea con pijama de manga larga!).

(How is being your week? I'm reading, surfing the net and having a rest. This year has been a bit hard, in fact I spent Christmas and Easter studing so we can say that I've been busy since the last september. Now I just need sunny days, heat and ice creams (well, to tell you the truth I' ve already started having ice creams though the weather is chilly).

Estas fotos son de la semana pasada, aunque el tiempo no ha variado mucho con respecto a esta. Este vestido es muy cómodo y para los días frescos es estupendo.

(I took this photos last week. This dress is very comfy and keeps you warm in chilly days. It's my favourite dress at this moment.)

Cambiando de tema, por fin me he hecho con mi primer esmalte de OPI y el Start to Finish (un producto que sirve como endurecedor, base y top coat). Llevaba meses queriendo probar esta marca y me ha gustado mucho. Ahora tengo una pequeña wish list...

(Changing the subject, at last I've bought my first OPI nail lacquer and the Start to Finish (it's a base coat, a top coat and besides toughens up your nails). I've been waiting months to test it and I really like it. Now I have a small wish list...

Run to the hills

La semana pasada llovió todos los días, por lo que ayer, aprovechando el respiro que dio la lluvia, fuimos a hacer senderismo. Intentamos tomar varias de las rutas que conocemos, pero el río estaba demasiado lleno, de hecho se había desbordado un poco. Por eso decidimos quedarnos en la zona asfaltada, ¡aunque no cayeron menos de dos horas de paseo a buen ritmo!

(The whole past week was raining. At last, yesterday it stopped, so we went hikking. The river was overflown and that's why we decided to walk on the asphated road.)

Unos buenos bocatas de tortilla, un par de botellas de agua, botas de trekking y a caminar.

Ayer hacía algo de viento, niebla y parecía que en cualquier momento se pondría a llover a cántaros, por lo que decidimos dejar el senderismo para otro día y acercarnos a Compostela. Así que me puse mi pantalón ancho, estrené mi camisa de cuadritos vichy y me calcé estos playeros que tantos recuerdos me traen de mi infancia.

(Yesterday It was a bit windy and foggy. Besides, It seemed that at any time It would put to rain to pitchers, so we decided to leave the hiking for another day and going to Compostela. I wore my broad trousers, my new vichy print shirt and these trainers, which remind me of childhood memories).

Las calles estaban llenas de turistas y había una pequeña feria medieval. Aunque había unas crêpes con un aspecto estupendo no teníamos nada de hambre, puesto que habíamos parado a comer en el típico mesón rural con raciones enormes y postres caseros irresistibles.

(The streets were crowded with tourists and there was a little medieval fair. Despite there were some mouthwatering crêpes we weren't hungry, because we had eaten huge shares in a tipical rural old style bar and irresistible home made desserts.)

Closing time

Una vez han salido los resultados de los examenes y he comprobado que todo ha ido bien ya puedo relajarme! Esta tarde he ido a darme un paseo y me cogí un cinturón muy mono en Pepe Jeans, de florecillas y aspecto desgastado. Mi novio me regaló una taza de té preciosa de creative tops (he estado tratando de entrar en la página oficial, pero parece no funcionar!), una firma inglesa que diseña vajillas de porcelana, similar a Dunoon. Como podéis ver adoro la porcelana, las tacitas, las teteras etcétera jeje. En mi familia me dicen que debe ser genético.

(Once I have passed all my exams I can relax! Today in the afternoon I went to have a walk and ended buying a new flowery belt that looks worn out in Pepe Jeans. I was given a lovely creative tops mug by my boyfriend. It´s from creative tops, an english company that designs porcelain houseware, similar to Dunnon. As you can see I love porcelain, mugs, teapots ... My family tell to me it has to be genetic.)

Cambiando de tema, a pesar de que hoy ha acabado nublándose, hay flores por todas partes... Es delicioso y levanta el ánimo.

Here comes the sun

Después de una larga ausencia vuelvo a tener algo de tiempo! Parece que los días de sol se aproximan cada día más y con ellos la playa, los paseos, los batidos bien fresquitos...

Os dejo unas fotos con mi nueva falda cuasivintage, originalmente era por la mitad de la pantorrilla, pero me parecía muy larga, por lo que decidí llevarla a arreglar. Me encanta y me la pongo constantemente!
